Grand Ely Lodge

Grand Ely Lodge lies near the Boundary Waters separating the state of Minnesota from our Canadian neighbors. Boasting great views and easy access to outdoor adventure, the Lodge has a lot to offer. Their online presence didn’t tell the same story, however.

To bring their story to life, I created a visual brand identity inspired by the cabin vibes of the rust-colored lodge exterior, the deep greens of northern vegetation, and the plethora of wildlife in the area.

With a modernized refresh of their brand’s origins, I created a website that depicts the Lodge’s amenities and helps users easily navigate and find things to do in the area. To ensure staff would have everything they needed to update content moving forward, I built a WordPress site and created page templates and reusable content modules.
